Strafford Farms Roof Deck

Strafford Farms Restaurant wanted to expand their seating on the second floor by creating an outdoor deck space on a roof. This project involved strengthening the existing roof structure to allow for the new seating loads, working out egress paths to meet codes, and to develop design layouts for the seating arrangement to integrate propane heaters  throughout the deck.

Wine Bar Renovation

Portsmouth, New Hampshire

The French pastry bakery wanted to diversify their products to include a cafe style wine and cheese spot for the night life of downtown Portsmouth, NH. They wanted to bring the feel of a French cafe to the cozy mezzanine above the bakery area. This intimate space features a stone wall, wood beam ceiling with custom curved acoustic ceiling panels, all illuminated by recessed or cove lighting to invoke the sense of walking into an old French wine cellar.

The Bagelry Restaurant

Durham, New Hampshire

The Bagelry required a complete renovation to create an exciting character and to improve customer flow. Design services included improving the layout and function of the kitchen, exposing the boiling of bagels to customers, developing the layout of the service counter and detailing the casework to blend with the design of the seating area, and addressing customer flow and seating requirements. The result was a cozy environment for meeting with friends and enjoying a bagel with your coffee.

The Loft at Strafford Farms

Dover, New Hampshire

In order to capture a greater share of the younger generation, Strafford Farms Restaurant was expanded by renovating the second floor attic into a new lounge. The Loft is a project that started with a master plan and budgeting, that was soon followed with developing the design and details for construction. The success of the project was in the draw of new customers.
