Louis F. Clarizio Oral Surgery required upgrades to their check-in/check-out counters including improvements to their work station. Working closely with the staff, a design was developed which improved work flow within the work station and created a more simple and efficient costumer service. There was a focus on the customer service for accessibility with ADA accessible counter heights, as well as the desire for privacy which was achieved with floor to ceiling class dividers between customer windows both on the patient side and the interior work station side. Additional upgrades including flooring, ceiling, and door finishes  with new lighting throughout the renovated areas brings a more modern aesthetic to the office.

Orchard Surgical Center Renovations

Salem, New Hampshire

Orchard Surgical Center was looking to add additional surgical operatory rooms to their out-patient facility and increase the size of their support areas. The design was to take over and shift the supporting staff spaces into an existing shell space that was only used as storage   to make room for two additional operating rooms and the OR support services areas.  The support staffing area included multiple offices, additional storage space and larger more functional staff locker rooms and bathrooms with showers.

Seacoast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Somersworth, New Hampshire

A bold design focused on function, flow and patient privacy. Critical issues were resolved and the design reinforced clear avenues of flow from clinic spaces to public spaces, yet maintained a sense of openness. The modern character reflects the mission of the practice, "The Future of Orthopedics Today".

Gastroenterology, PA

Somersworth, New Hampshire

Gastroenterology, PA needed to consolidate two small offices into a single, more functional facility that would permit growth of the practice and that would better serve patients. A well functioning plan was developed using pods for physician offices and exam rooms, and providing centralized Procedure Rooms served by a common service core area. The views to the outside help orient patients while bringing nature into the building.

Seacoast Cardiology

Somersworth, New Hampshire

Seacoast Cardiology upgraded one of their offices to a new facility that provides additional exam and procedure rooms, and improves functional flow and patient privacy within the practice. Views to the outside are provided from all corridors to help provide orientation for patients and a connection to the outdoors.

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's Newmarket Medical Office Building

Newmarket, New Hampshire

The combined challenges of a tight site and the desired space layout was resolved with the design of a two-story building and basement. The architecture reflects the local New England colonial architecture with its simple facade and a tower reminiscent of the mill buildings in Town anchoring the entrance.

New England Equine Medical & Surgical Center

Dover, New Hampshire

New England Equine Medical & Surgical Center provides state-of-the-art veterinary equine healthcare to the New England Region. The new hospital is designed to reflect the character of New England barns in order to help comfort clients in a familiar setting.

Seacoast Pain Institute

Somersworth, New Hampshire

The new entrance to Seacoast Pain Institute's relocated office suite creates a sense of identity for the lower level of the large healthcare facility. The design addresses functional concerns by creating private check-out alcoves and efficient patient flow between reception and exam rooms.

Frisbie Memorial Hospital PT Outpatient Services

Rochester, New Hampshire

The treatment rooms in the new, larger PT Outpatient Services facility provide privacy for patients within a calming environment while the gym presents an active, up-beat presence with bold colors and an open feel. The lively character of the facility provides an excellent setting for the Outpatient Physical Therapy services of the hospital.

The challenge of matching the New England style and character of an existing barn on the property with a new building that would meet the client's needs was successfully met with this well-planned design. Patient comfort and efficient flow are effectively combined to serve the needs of the practice and its patients.

While the location was perfect, Frisbie Memorial Hospital wanted a new image and modern, functional healthcare space for their clinic, Seacoast RediCare. The all new exterior form completely changes the previous image of the building, and the rearrangement of staff areas and patient flow successfully meets the needs and desires of the hospital and medical clinic.

Dr. Ness Dental Clinic

Somersworth, New Hampshire

The design for Dr. Ness' dental clinic reflects the desire to create a professional image with a thoughtfully detailed, functional office design. The character of the building reflects a contemporary rendition of the New England shingle style. A curved facade at the Waiting Room provides a unique presentation to the busy road beyond.

Pinewood Medical Center

Somersworth, New Hampshire

Pinewood Medical Center contains multiple practices and ancillary groups. The design successfully integrates the needs of each individual practice as well as their commonly needed spaces. The building has a scale that matches the neighborhood and has a character that respects traditional New England design.

Concord Hospital Maternity Suite

Concord, New Hampshire

The existing traditional maternity unit was replaced by a new, 16 bed, LDRP suite. Significant attention was placed on developing LDRP rooms to function well and to provide the level of comfort desired in each room. Furnishings and finishes were an integral part of the design development as the hospital began to plan for the transition in the delivery of maternity care.
