Jesse Remington High School

Candia, New Hampshire

Jesse Remington High School was outgrowing their existing school building and looking to expand their classroom capabilities. A program was developed based on the desires of the school to increase classroom, laboratory, an amenity space for the students and staff, paying close attention to the accessibility needs of the school with an elevator and accessible entrances. The design strives to keep a strong connection with the surrounding natural landscape, implementing floor-to-ceiling windows and clerestory windows bringing in views an abundance of natural lighting, and also playing with the materials of the exterior combining stone with wood mimicking the sites natural material.

Berwick Academy Science and Math Center

Berwick, Maine

The Science Center was designed as a significant focal point within the Berwick Academy campus as both an academic facility and as the defining edge of a development quadrangle, part of the campus future plan. Designed to blend with the character of the adjacent Fogg Memorial Building, the three story Science Center provides 14 classrooms dedicated to the study of Science, Mathematics and Technology. The facility is used primarily by the middle and high school students. *in association with Graham Gund Partners
